Back at the Keyboard

Wow, has it been this long? Tip for aspiring bloggers: this is actually a lot easier when you update every day.

Even though this site has not been updated, you may actually have caught some Aggro writing if you picked up a copy of Equinox - the official EQII magazine. I have a humor column on the last page of issue two (and you will probably see one in issue three as well). If you read it - let me know what you thought.

(Note : I deal only with the publishing company, not SOE and I don't receive any compensation).

But anyway, I plan on updating this site again and hopefully this post will provide sure-fire motivation to do so. I'm going to start by discussing some of the bizarre, off-the-radar games I've been playing the last few months. I've also been working on a couple of other mystery projects that you will hear more about soon.

I hope everyone is well and has had some good gaming!

Heeey buddy! Maybe you bringing this place back to life will make me keep in touch more too. I haven't even talked to Karn in months :(

Thanks for the WB!

What has everyone been playing?

Wait I will guess:

Tipa's been checking out Mythos (amongst other things) and Genda's been playing some SWG.

I cheated and read your sites.

Hey, Grish - cool idea on the 38 Studios site - this is my first time seeing it but I like it.

Anskiere, how about you? Rocking the EQII? Think Bandit & Karn are back with that as well. I was playing some LOTRO but that was a couple of months ago.

Haha I was just thinking of our disastrous sojourn into Vanguard - that lasted a long time!

Nah no more EQ2 for me, sadly. I continued guiding for a while after I had stopped actually playing, but eventually gave that up too. I always meant to join you and Bandit in LotRO, but never had the time while you guys were :(
I play WoW part-time with the girlfriend when we are feeling bored, but most of my kicks come from consoles now... mostly since my gaming time is radically reduced from what it used to be.

Vanguard... I remember too. I lasted a day before I gave up on it :P When we first logged on and our characters looked nothing like how we created them, I knew it just wasn't going to work out! You all had a lot more conviction that I did though, lol!

I am a slacker, as usual... but I am still skulking around EQII - ding'ed 80 Monday night (May 5th). Yay me!

Good to see this article up; we need to catch up on whhat's been going on Mr. Aggro!

Glad to see you back! Yayz!

I've still been playing EQ2, but the past several months have definitely seen me offline a lot more and my general interest in gaming waning. Too much RL stuff going on to focus any energy on MMOs, although people keep asking me if I want to contribute articles or something from the "grrl gamer's" perspective. (Oy vey, dude, I can't even find time to write a decent article for my own blogs.)

I also picked up WoW because several RL friends play it, but that's a kind of on-again/off-again thing - it just never engaged me like EQ/EQ2 did. SOE's Pirates game isn't too bad, but I just can't manage to get into the multi-player part of it. Guess I'm just not one of those players who can focus on multiple games at the same time.

Have missed your perspective on gaming, but was glad to see your work in Equinox. :)

Some may feel squeamish about eating it, but rabbit has a fan base that grows as cooks discover how easy they are to raise — and how good the meat tastes.
