The Name Game
Well, I've been seeing Frogloks popping, or should I say hopping, up everywhere in Norrath these days. I mean seriously, I can't believe how many Frogloks there are and I don't even think they're unlocked server-wide on my server yet. IPYM has a description and link to a video of what is apparently the first server wide unlocking if you are interested.
With the release of the Froggies into our fair world the floodgates have also opened to a deluge of corny frog pun names.
But, hey, when you're staring at the character creation screen sometimes you draw a blank.
So, I figured I would point you to some resources. Having trouble coming up with a fitting name for that new alt? You can try either one of these fantasy name generators to give you some ideas. It can be fun to punch up a random name and then try to imagine the backstory.
For my characters I sometimes like to delve into mythology and play off of the names I find there. You can try Celtic, Greek, Egyptian, Arthurian or any other mythos for inspiration. Here is a link to some names from mythology.
As for what not to do I'd stay away from characters in fantasy novels and movies, okay Legolas?

I really liked this one. Used it to get a lastname for my kerra.
As for Frogloks, I think people will get bored of them soon, atleast some people.
Well, as the froglok army entered the Splitpaw server, one could easily see what effort people had put in on finding good names... Froggy, Croaker, Croak, Froooaak, Kermitt, Ribbit and Readyfreddy? ;-)
I would definately use either Sugarsmacks or some form of Dig 'Em
Heh, that's exactly was I talking about z. but I forgot to write them down. I saw many of the same variations over on Steamfont.
