Guide to the Galaxy

Okay, long post yesterday and a short one today. Thanks to everyone who commented on yesterday's post. I thought there were some great arguments and ideas on both sides.

On to today's subject, I think the Guide program is a great idea. It gives SOE a volunteer staff to assist in acclimating new players and putting on live events. It gives the Guides a chance to roleplay, to help other players and to do fun stuff that the rest of us don't get to do. And from what I understand, it's a lot more pleasant than it used to be in the EQ days.

So, if you think you have what it takes be sure to apply. Please note that while the guide application page looks like it's for Everquest, it's for EQII as well, as Blackguard stated here.
